I was working on an LG1150 motherboard with a faulty power supply. After disconnecting all cables, I noticed the board lacks a standard 20 or 24-pin connector but instead has two unusual 6-pin connectors. Are there compatible PSU replacements available? Someone could help me find one that fits? Thanks!

SATA PWR0 connects six pins to two SATA or Molex ports for hard drive power. The voltage comes from the motherboard, not the PSU, since the PSU only provides 12V. The board gets power through a white six-pin connector plus a smaller connector with thinner wires for signals such as power_ok and power_on. It may also support -12V for serial ports or 12V standby, unlike standard ATX which uses 5V standby. This design is exclusive to HP and comes in various versions. For common models, adapters exist that let you use a regular ATX supply to power these boards. Here’s an Amazon link showing an adapter for HP systems: https://www.amazon.com/24Pin-Female-Adap...B08DHW315H. Keep in mind compatibility isn’t guaranteed without knowing your motherboard model, as the hidden voltage converter changes the wiring more than just swapping connectors.
