Consider replacing the windows and ensuring the latest BIOS and chipset drivers are installed. Until then, we're unable to assist further. If the issue persists afterward, I'd be worried—most of the unusual reporting problems have already been resolved for 500-series boards and Zen 3.

With guidance from an MSI staff member, the motherboard surrendered and simply dangles over the boot lead without a post. I’ll have to disassemble it completely for the 69420th attempt and retry once I submit the return request.

Unlucky situation. It seems better for it to stop now rather than later, though I doubt it will be fully resolved. Or it could cause another issue with strange voltage.

I’m sure the 5900X will work. I could also send it back via RMA, though it would be disappointing because I purchased it below the MSRP from a trustworthy source.
