I've made a memory overclock that's completely stable, but when I tweak something basic in the BIOS like a fan curve or leave it blank, the system crashes. Restarting without going into BIOS fixes the problem, but I'm just trying to understand why my PC behaves this way.

It seems the system might not be fully reliable.

The system starts up perfectly every time unless I enter the BIOS settings. I can perform memory tests throughout the day, but entering BIOS occasionally causes crashes and forces me to reset my settings. It doesn’t seem like a major problem since I’ve customized it to my preferences, making it unusual for me to need to return there.

It's not a significant boost for a 3600mhz 14.15.15.35 running at 1.4v

Occasionally synthetic stress tests don't confirm stability. What you're seeing is actually instability. That's why sometimes the site goes into safe mode. You might try adjusting the timing or reducing the frequency slightly and observe if it changes the outcomes.

I tested memtest and it worked well; prime ran smoothly. I've been using it for five months now with no blue screens. If it ever crashes, I'll reset the timing.
