I checked the Supermicro X9DRL-iF manual and found the unusual connector in your PCI-E slot. You can connect a standard PCI-E card by using the provided adapter or converter, ensuring compatibility with the slot type. Consult the product page for specific instructions.

Is it a standard X1 port or something unusual with a pin adapter? Because every image I see shows an X1 slot.

It appears you're referring to a PCIe X1 slot that operates via the chipset rather than the CPU, along with an X8 slot supporting X4 speeds using PCH. You can typically use standard PCIe cards in these slots, provided they match the size specifications.

Absolutely correct, it was simply a standard PCI-E x1 port. The schematic was a bit confusing, but upon inspecting my device, it confirmed it was just a typical PCI slot. Appreciate the assistance and your effort!
