It doesn't seem to be using an electric copper connection. The router has one LAN port occupied by a PoE adapter, which connects to the roof where a long-distance transmission AP is located. An unusual issue is that internet connectivity drops when disconnecting from the LAN port, while it remains functional on the WAN port. It's puzzling why it wasn't connected to the WAN port, as I have a similar setup at home with the same ISP.

It seems like you're asking about someone's location and a bit of personal details. I don't have access to real-time information or private data. Let me know how I can assist you further!

Yes, I understand that clearly. I don’t have any idea about the exact location of the cable from the PoE adapter. Based on what I can see, it might run along the roof, possibly passing under it, where a secondary router could be placed and connected to the AP on the roof. It’s possible it already has PoE amplification, so you could connect a router under the roof and an AP on top to power both devices.

We're neighbors. I'm from the Czech republic. Though if you're not living in a flat or in the center of the city, there's usually no way to get cable internet. We both live in a Village houses. I live in a 10 year old house (the Mayor is dumb and saved money by not planting an internet nor DLS cable - awesome stuff, gotta love politics) and she lives in like 100+ years old house. We both got no wired connectivity. And getting your cable to your house not only costs fortune, but you also gotta get like 50 signatures from neighbors that are also interested. This is a world wide issue. Get a big house with garden or live in a flat with 50 families and get fiber.

Check if there is an additional router at a higher level. Verify the network settings and ensure you're using the correct IP address for the device you want to connect. Use appropriate tools to scan the network and confirm the presence of other devices beyond the default gateway.

He might have also set up his own Wi-Fi with a concealed SSID that isn't visible. A Wi-Fi scanner app could reveal if another hidden network exists in the home. This would provide clear proof.

The issue started when I asked him to use his laptop, and he was on the same Wi-Fi as us with slow speeds. Despite that, he had a strange smile, maybe he adjusted his phone settings or something. He displayed a screen from about a month ago showing high download speeds, but on his weak 5Mbit connection it was barely noticeable. I plan to use a Wi-Fi analyzer to check for hidden networks without an SSID. This was the first thing I considered, but when he showed me his laptop, it had no hidden networks and was still on the same Wi-Fi.
