Hey everyone, just checking if anyone else had similar experiences. When Ryzen 3000 came out, I bought a 3600 non-X and installed it on my ASUS B350 Prime. It worked fine at first, but I realized the motherboard needed an update because it lacked certain features I wanted. Then I got an MSI B450 Pro Carbon AC and installed the right BIOS – everything functioned perfectly. I even overclocked the RAM to 3800 MHz and it performed excellently. But after a few BIOS updates, I faced problems later. I tried pushing the RAM beyond 3800 MHz, which caused a system crash that was unusual. After troubleshooting, I reset it back to 3800 MHz, but the BIOS ran very slowly and didn’t respond well to inputs. A few restarts fixed most of it, and now everything runs at 3800 MHz again. However, I noticed audio issues like popping and crackling, plus random restarts when playing games – it felt like someone had reset the system. Once it booted back up, it worked fine. Stability tests passed, so I’m confident it’s not a problem with the motherboard or BIOS. My specs include: Ryzen 3600 16GB, Patriot Viper Steel 4400MHz, MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon, Vega 64, and EVGA GQ 750W power supply. Thanks for reading!
