I own two rams, ram "a" and ram "b". Ram "a" functions in every slot of my motherboard, while ram "b" doesn't. What's odd is that ram "b" operates on different motherboards. Both are from the same brand and model. I'm puzzled—lmao! It's always been set up for dual-channel use in my PC. Anyone experienced this?

Notes: Last time I modified my PC was when I changed my GPU. Actions taken:
- Swapped ram "b" into all four slots (no change)
- Tested ram "a" and ram "b" on another PC (functioned properly)
- Used an eraser to clear both RAMs

Thanks for the update. The changes involved swapping the GPU. I upgraded to an RTX 4060, and this configuration performed well. Previous specs were: Boost: b150m, CPU: i7-6700, GPU: GTX 1060, PSU: 650W. Now it's b550m, DS3H, CPU: Ryzen 5 3600, GPU: GTX 1660, CPU cooler: CV550.

The unusual memory issue you're experiencing hasn't been explained yet—could you clarify the issue you're facing?

Sry I didn't notice it. I already changed my post, thanks. I have 2 rams, ram "a" and ram "b". Ram "a" works on all slots of my motherboard but ram "b" doesn't. What is weird is that ram b works on other motherboards. Both are from the same brand and same model. I can't figure out why lmao. It has both always been used for the dual channel of my pc. Has anyone had this problem before? Note: Last thing I did with my pc is change my gpu. Things that I have done: • Switch ram "b" to all 4 ram slots (no effect) • try both ram "a" and ram "b" on the other pc (works as intended) • erase both ram with eraser

RAM "A" and "B" come from the same memory kit but are different modules, correct? Have you experimented with using only RAM "A" in all slots? It seems unusual. If both sticks function properly in another system, it likely points to a motherboard issue with CPU or memory slots. Consider running MemTest86+ for several hours (repeated runs) to check for physical problems like defective ICs in RAM "B."
