The setup includes: A first motherboard (Asus B75m) paired with an mATX case, and a second motherboard (Asus H67m) with an mATX case. The CPU options are I3-3220 and Pentium G2030, with standard Kingston 8GB RAM kits and a Crucial Balistix Sport 4GB kit (1600MHz DDR3). Someone reported issues after turning on the system: the CPU fan spins very little, the RAM LED turns red, and the fan speeds up rapidly before booting. I've tested various CPUs, RAM sets, and even replaced the motherboard and power supply. Given the person's condition, it’s possible a physical issue or misalignment occurred. What are your thoughts on this situation?

Set up the PC outside the case for testing. Inspect the case while the board is removed to verify all standoffs are correctly positioned and none are touching the back incorrectly. Examine the power switches to confirm they're connected to the appropriate FP header locations. Ensure the switches function properly—try securing the board with a screwdriver on the correct pins to disable the case switch. After assembly, reset the CMOS. Any changes to memory configuration should be done as well. If the board uses a 3-pin Cmos jumper, confirm it's set to the right position for operation instead of the clear state. For any bent pins, ask your friend to capture a high-definition close-up to check for damage. I've bent pins before; repairs are possible depending on the extent of the damage.
