Basic details: Asus X670E-F Gaming with WiFi and BIOS 2202, Ryzen 7700X, Corsair CMH32GX5M2D6000Z36, 32GB DDR5 6000 C36 "Optimized for AMD". The issue is, when I turn on EXPO via UEFI, it works fine, but enabling Eco-mode and EXPO from Ryzen Master causes the PC to hang. Safe mode only shows the BIOS settings are saved. What might be wrong?

Check the remaining RAM speeds listed in the manual or documentation.

It’s for my boyfriend’s benefit. If it were me, I’d adjust the ECO mode directly in the BIOS. Since he’s not familiar with computers, I’m trying the quick “one-click” approach… but it seems the ECO setting will disappear if I switch back to BIOS and turn on EXPO. Here’s what works (ASUS defaults): I chose “EXPO I” and got a timing of 36-36-36-76 with Auto, VDDIO and VDDQ at 1.335 (VDDQ can rise to 1.350 in some monitors). VPP is around 1.8V. All times come from HWinfo Memory clock 3000, 30x Tcas, 36 Trcd, 36 Trp, 36 Tras 76 Trc, 146 Trfc, 884 Command Rate 1. I also saw that in Ryzen Master, if I set TRC to 112 instead of 146, the timing improves. VDDIO is around 1.35 (higher than 1.335), VPP stays at 1.8V. I’m thinking about tweaking Ryzen Master manually—changing VDDIO to 1.34 and TRC to 146—but I’ve never done this before, so I’ll admit I’m a bit unsure.

I use a kit around 36-36-36-76 and I realize Ryzen Master might not be the best choice if EXPO isn't supported in UEFI. I prefer sticking with what works, especially since I'm more focused on stability than raw gains. Those sub timing settings are usually set by the motherboard maker, and overclocking manually can be risky if you stray too far from official specs.

It seems like you're trying to highlight a minor discrepancy between Ryzen Master settings and HWinfo reports. The key point here is that you're observing a small inconsistency, which could be worth noting for accuracy.

The UEFI should display timing information, making it a useful academic task. It's unclear how Ryzen Master integrates EXPO settings, as I haven't explored that feature.

ASUS UEFI displayed the following details: Tcl 36 Trcd 36 Trp 36 Tras 76 Trc 146 (instead of 112) Twr 90 Refresh Interval 11677 Trfc1 844 Trfc2 390. Additional entries exist but were omitted as they weren't in Ryzen Master. All configurations are set to Auto. In the BIOS, CPU core voltage is 1.27, CPU SOC 1.376, VDDIO/MC 1.385, Misc 1.28, DRAM VDD 1.35, DRAM VDDQ 1.35. The SPD data in BIOS was present. The stored EXPO settings were: EXPO ID Profile0, Frequency 6000, tCL 36, tRCD 36, tRP36, tRAS 76, RCC 112, VDD 1.350, VPP 1.8, tRFC1 884, tRFC2 480, tRFCSB 390. It’s unclear why UEFI set tRC to 146 instead of 112. Also, the hardware info showed Samsung B-die voltage at 1.10 and XMP at 1.35.

Ryzen Master restricts modifying specific RAM speeds only in the "Basic View." To view and adjust all other parameters, switch to the "Advanced View."

Yes, the UEFI EXPO configuration functions correctly, while the Ryzen Master EXPO does not work.

Also attempted Ryzen Master EXPO, adjusting Row Cycle time to 146, but it still didn’t post—appears Safe Mode was used. It seems setting UEFI EXPO might automatically raise SOC voltage from 1.039 to 1.376. My thought is Ryzen Master may not have done that adjustment, leading to instability and failed posting. I haven’t adjusted Row Cycle from 146 to 112 in UEFI yet.
