I’ve played this game for years, it’s never been a big problem. Steam recently synced my save file (I usually keep cloud saves, but I forgot), and since I was offline I didn’t expect any issues. The game stopped working, but it didn’t throw any errors—just closed forcefully. I checked the settings and disabled the shader cache, which resolved it. It seems removing that cache helped, even though I thought it wouldn’t improve performance. Is there a better solution? Have others faced this problem?
