You've experienced frequent crashes on your PC after launching programs or games. In the Event Viewer, you only see a single start-up event (Event 12). After rebooting, the OS appears unaware of the issue. I’ve found an Event 41 indicating a reboot without a clean shutdown, and Event 105 showing power source changes. It seems the system often loses power or shuts down unexpectedly.

I know the machine dropped power, and there are several Event 105s about power fluctuations. When you boot up: - Minecraft (high single-thread needs, heavy CPU usage) - Prime95 (consistent high power draw) - Visual Studio (maybe it’s trying to run too much) These programs cause a black screen around 94% of the time after about two hours of use.

If the PC starts fresh, running these tools shouldn’t trigger problems. This suggests two likely causes:

1. The power supply unit (PSU), specifically the EVGA SuperNOVA 850 G2 (80+ Gold 850W, purchased April 7, 2015). It’s nearly ten years old and may struggle with modern loads.
2. A disorganized power setup. As a system engineer, I’m used to precise configurations, but personal devices and peripherals can disrupt balance. The transformer is usually off, yet it seems to be active.

Additional note: The water cooling system has an issue where the D5 pump stays running 24/7 if the PC is turned off. I plan to replace it, though a temporary fix is to keep it on.
