Unusual Hesitations / Timing Interruptions in FPS: Counter-Strike Global Offensive
I’m experiencing unusual stuttering and frame rate fluctuations in CS:GO when I observe enemy player models.
I’ve extensively researched this issue and attempted numerous solutions without success. The problem primarily occurs within the initial 4-5 minutes of gameplay, particularly when an enemy player is nearby—likely due to the rendering of player models occurring even when they aren’t directly visible. My system displays frame time spikes reaching 30-40ms, alongside smaller fluctuations of 20-25ms.
Prior to 1809, this information is irrelevant. What version of the Basic Input/Output System (BIOS) are you currently utilizing? And, describing your attempts with different processors, please detail what you've experimented with. Also, specify the CPU cooler you are employing and provide temperature readings from your system. It would be beneficial to include images of the data you've observed within MSI’s Afterburner application.
I’m currently at my job.
I'm using a NZXT Kraken X62 cooler, and the temperatures are stable. Specifically, while playing CS:GO or Metro Exodus at maximum settings:
CPU temperature is approximately 55-65° Celsius.
GPU temperature is around 65-70° Celsius.
My frametimes appear as follows: I tested a second 8700k processor, and also reverted to a 6700k with a Z270 motherboard.
