Most of the system is brand new, except for the GPU which is an older model. It seems the issue started a few months after setting everything up. Should I test it with the GPU first or start with the CPU?

Sure, everything looks fine. It might be related to PSU power supply or the GPU performance under stress, but either way, some noise isn't a big issue.

GPUs are certainly more sensitive to coil whine. The first step I’d take would be adjusting the power plan to "Power Saver" and checking if performance improves.

It seems the increased noise might be due to higher power consumption from the updated components, making the sound more obvious.

I didn't think it was the reason, but I usually used the Ryzen high-performance power setting. After switching to balanced coil noise, it disappeared, so I guess it had to do with how much power the GPU received. I'm still experimenting, but it seems like that fixes the issue. Thanks a lot!
