Memory temperatures often rise because of how the cooling system works. Usually, the more affordable coolers aren't effective enough to keep the memory at the right temperature.

I assumed the 2000s lineup lacked memory sensors. HWmonitor indicates my RAM and hotspot readings match (2080), yet when someone with a GDDR6X GPU shares their stats, those values differ. I wondered if this reading was just a placeholder and just pasted the hotspot temperature.
