I just did my first overclock using EVGA Precision X1 for my EVGA 980ti SC. I began by setting the power and voltage sliders to their maximums. Then, while Unigen Heaven was running, I gradually increased the GPU clock by 10MHz until it became unstable. The same process was repeated for the memory clock. Now I'm using these settings for a stable modded Skyrim LE:

Power target: 110%
GPU temp target: 91C
GPU clock offset: +141MHz
Memory clock offset: +296MHz
Voltage: +100mV
GPU boost clock: 1470MHz
Memory clock: 7600Mhz

Prior to overclocking, PX1 displayed a boost clock of 1329MHz and memory clock of 6610MHz.

Occasionally I notice the memory doesn't increase beyond 6610 while the GPU runs at 1470 as desired. Restarting the computer is necessary for the memory to reach 7600 again.

Additionally, sometimes even when nothing is running, the GPU and memory fail to drop to their idle speeds of 135MHz and 405MHz respectively, instead staying at their base clocks of 1102 and 6610. This also requires a restart.

I've tried adjusting the global power management under 3D settings from optimal to adaptive, but it didn't help. I'm using a custom watercooled loop, and GPU temperatures have never exceeded 50C. Anyone has any insight into this issue?

Open the EVGA PX1. If the issue persists, attempt to use afterburner.

The program is configured to launch with Windows. I confirmed the settings to load previous configurations. Keeping it open allows me to track temperatures and clocks, which is where this data comes from. This doesn't seem to be a PX1 problem; it appears more related to a driver or Windows issue.

MSI Afterburner is the best option. The settings remain stored and are automatically applied each time Windows launches.
