I've noticed consistent performance across different settings—around 60fps in most cases, with 40-50 in tougher conditions. My 880k has been boosted to 4.2GHz. Possible causes include overclocking, bottlenecking, tweaks in Overwatch settings (though I suspect the defaults are working), or BIOS adjustments. If you'd like, I can share images of my BIOS via imgur through my phone. My motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-F2A75M-HD2 V3.0. Thanks for checking!

It seems like the system is experiencing a slowdown due to the CPU. Unfortunately, no improvements are available for that setup.

The results remained consistent across both settings because the underlying factors didn't change.

The CPU is limiting the GPU performance. Or consider enabling VSync.

Vsync isn't enabled. Even with all settings set to low, I still can't reach above ~60 fps, which seems odd but fine. Appreciate the assistance! :^)

Let me verify that for you. Could you share the details of the game you're playing? I'll check the CPU and GPU usage once I have that information.

Something like openhardwaremonitor or the monitoring thing that comes with MSI afterburner (which runs in an overlay over the game).

I'll wait to hear more details. I'm available for about 20 minutes and should respond in roughly 30 minutes. Appreciate your patience!

This processor won't cause issues with high-end games such as The Witcher 3, yet it performs adequately in titles like Overwatch.
