I manage a secured WiFi network using a UDM Pro. My network has a strong password, but I live among elderly neighbors who don’t understand what a WiFi connection is. I don’t have a guest network either. In the last 30 days, two unknown devices have appeared on my network: an Amcrest camera and a Litter Robot 3. I’m curious if others have faced similar issues with unexpected devices joining. I’ve blocked both, but I’m worried about security since there are around 75 wireless devices. I considered MAC address spoofing, but that seems unlikely for something as unusual as a cat litter box. Could someone remotely spoof a MAC address and make the device appear on my network? It’s possible they’re using data to confirm it’s connected. My biggest concern is unauthorized access to my cameras and personal information. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
