Did you reset the CMOS memory after updating the BIOS? This step is frequently missed and could lead to some issues. From what I understand, you only added Windows. You might want to test with a Linux distribution such as Ubuntu or Bazzite to see if the problems persist. If you have another machine available, you can gradually check each component there to confirm if the hardware is faulty. Best of luck.

Hi there! I see you're asking about temperatures. How are they going?

Yes, I've tried a few times but stopped recently. Unfortunately, I can't run another machine to check them one by one. It's normal! The issue occurs unexpectedly sometimes during startup or in BIOS.

Have you ever experimented with rearranging USB connections? I faced a bothersome problem for six months where my mouse would intermittently freeze across the display. It turned out I was using the same port setup for both my USB drive and Windows updates, causing it to malfunction whenever the system scanned the drive.

Sure, I can try. Could you clarify what you're referring to?

The issue has been present from the start... it's just so unpredictable.

It seems unusual for this to happen in BIOS. Was there a hardware problem? Have you tested other devices?

Consider checking the Gigabyte B650 GAMING X AX V2, the Gigabyte B650 EAGLE AX, and the Gigabyte B650 AORUS ELITE AX V2. These options are reasonably priced and well-suited for gaming performance.
