You're experiencing significant FPS drops from 120 to just 9, leading to noticeable micro-stutter. This issue appears across various games, even simple 2D titles that aren't demanding high performance. I've tested everything—OCs, Gsync, drivers, NVIDIA settings, shader cache, latency modes, BIOS defaults, uninstalling the NVIDIA app, and a fresh Windows installation. Still no improvement. Any other ideas?

What hardware details do you have? Which title and configuration are you checking? Have you tried using MSI Afterburner or Intel PresentMon for GPU monitoring? Any unexpected performance drops probably point to the CPU.

I would hold the drivers accountable, as Nvidia has recently faced a series of poor driver experiences for various reasons.

9950X3D now has the non-3D cache CCD turned off. This issue is also occurring with my 7800X3D. It's not being used with the afterburner or monitoring software.

It’s challenging to identify problems without analytical resources.

These models run on separate systems or are being tested together on the same board.

My last setup was 7800X3D, now I have a new one. The issue still exists.

You installed a new Windows due to problems, or is it a complete fresh setup? If the DDU and driver reinstall didn’t work, it could be because the drivers are damaged, though it might still help if they’re faulty. Uncertain whether DDU would assist here.

Check if the EXPO profile is set up in BIOS settings. Lowering default speeds might improve performance.
