I just assembled a new computer and installed Windows. My screen only supports 1024 x 768 resolution, which makes everything on my monitor very tight. I can only zoom in further. I’m using an uninstalled version of Windows and I’m curious if the issue is with my monitor or the software itself.

Verify display scaling via the settings shortcut (Win + I). Consider using ClearType configuration to assess improvements, though I’m uncertain whether this addresses fringing or overall size.

This display offers only a limited selection for today’s Windows versions. Are you implying your screen has no other options available, or are you unsure if the graphics drivers are properly installed?
