Hi everyone!
I've been facing an issue with a folder on Windows 11 that can't be accessed or deleted. It was created in April after downloading a video via qBittorrent, either by myself or through the service. I'm not sure what caused it to become problematic. Attached are some screenshots for reference. Unfortunately, I can't directly add images here, so I've uploaded them to a website and linked them.

I also noted that my SSD is an Intel SSDPEKNU512GZ 512.1 GB (as shown in CrystalDiskInfo), and my S.M.A.R.T. status appears normal with no warnings.

Please let me know if you can help!

Run chkdsk on drive d: via elevated command prompt. Possible file system issues detected.
Proceed with renaming the folder if needed. Otherwise, consider using Total Commander to remove the folder.

I attempted to delete or access it in Safe Mode, but encountered these issues:
Secondly, I also refuse to support piracy. These torrents were merely recordings of old Romanian films that I couldn't purchase at the time.
Thirdly, regarding any malware connection, I'm certain this wasn't malicious. I've thoroughly scanned my system with the latest Bitdefender since the folder was created, and it came from a source I fully trust.

Running chdsk D: /f detected no issues with drive D:. After that, I attempted to access and remove the folder again, but it still failed. I then tried using Total Commander to delete it, though nothing appeared when I clicked 'Delete', not even an alert. Later, I managed to rename the folder via Total Commander, which worked—something I couldn't achieve in Windows Explorer (I hadn't tested renaming in Safe Mode). Once renamed, I could open the folder and delete it normally.

Thank you, SkyNetRising!

This freed approximately 1.5GB of space for me.

In case others search this on Google and encounter the same issue, the error message I received was: 0x80004005

Meanwhile, I came across this post on learn.microsoft.com:
"Right-click the file or folder, go to properties. Click the Security tab. Under Groups or user names you will probably see a string of numbers/special characters. If you don’t see anything unusual, this won’t help. If you do, click edit, select the abnormal object (like 875-d$d) and click remove. This should allow you to delete, edit, or move the file/folder."

I haven't tried this method yet since I discovered it after renaming through Total Commander.

I chose my post above as a Solution since I elaborated on how I resolved the problem. However, I wasn’t able to achieve this outcome without your guidance. I’m uncertain if selecting this post was the correct decision. Please let me know if I made a mistake. I’m not very familiar with this forum.
