Unusual flickering black and transparent patches on the Samsung Odessy G7 screen?
Observed recent issues where the system flickers when opening new tabs or suddenly launching browsers/discord, happening unpredictably. Initially tried reinstalling drivers with DDU, but the problem persists even with games or heavier apps. Occurs mainly when using Chrome or Firefox, specifically on the upper right corner, without affecting other areas. Possible causes include a damaged backlight or another software interference. Eventually planning to reformat Windows 11 in hope it resolves the matter, though I’m unsure if the monitor itself is the issue. App interference seems likely.
Clicking right on your desktop causes a flickering effect. This issue appears on both your 32-inch G7 and the older Dell 3007 monitor, though the cause remains unclear. As long as everything else functions properly, I’ll assume it’s related to the GPU driver. You have two 2080Ti monitors.
No glitches when right-clicking the desktop, just occasional issues. Very unpredictable timing—sometimes hours, sometimes up to two hours apart. Fingers crossed it’s not the GPU failing.
