Unusual file transfer via Ethernet port Download activity detected on network adapter
I noticed something unusual downloading on your PC recently. In Task Manager, under Performance, your Ethernet adapter reports about 4 Mbps usage, yet the Processes tab shows no network activity at all. It seems GlassWire isn’t showing any traffic using that bandwidth. Could someone clarify what’s happening or check your network settings?
Launch an administrative terminal using cmd.exe. Enter "netstat -a" to display all active connections. If you notice phantom bandwidth you can't detect, it might be another device on your switch or router broadcasting, though a video stream would be the only plausible cause. Running "netstat -ab" (needs admin privileges) will also reveal the associated program executable.
