It could be the sound card experiencing problems. Headphones alone probably wouldn't cause this issue if the male component is intact and functioning properly.

Are there any obvious signs of wear or defects on the parts? The occurrences seem sporadic, happening occasionally rather than consistently. It appears to happen at irregular intervals—sometimes every few seconds, other times in minutes or even longer periods. The components themselves seem to be quite new, likely no more than a few months old.

Use the built-in audio to check if it works.

No signs of harm on the headset are present; the sound usually starts 10–15 minutes to several hours later. The components appear to be around a year and a half old, though I can’t recall the purchase date precisely. I’d give it a try, but the PC350s bundled with the sound card use 6.35 mm connectors instead of standard 3.5 mm ones. Finding adapters for that size would be challenging. Since I live in a small Swedish town, ordering online seems necessary if any stores carry them.

Okay something even stranger is going on the really loud buzzing / static only happens when they are not in use. I have been watching a live stream for a few hrs and i just closed it and was getting ready for bed. And like a good 5mins after closing the live stream the loud as all hell buzzing came back. Nearly making me jump out of my chair and i wasn't even wearing them this time.

It's pretty weird (creppy noise here) and I'm not sure what's going on. Hope you can find some 3.5mm phones—they're fairly common. If it keeps happening, your sound card might be the issue. You could also check the audio section of FourM; maybe someone else has a similar problem and knows what to do.

I encountered the same issue with certain Sony wireless headphones that shut down to conserve battery. It seems these devices only use an audio jack, not a USB port.

I’m planning to search for adapters for my headset, possibly needing a new sound card, which could be costly. Last time I tried posting in the forum’s audio section, I got minimal helpful comments—just vague notes like “Don’t use a sound card” or “Just get an amp/DAC combo.” It seems the issue might have been a simple setting oversight, so I’ll investigate further before replacing anything. I’ve double-checked the connections to ensure they’re secure.

I believe I encountered an issue with my old computer and headset. It was an HP with Beats Audio, but I don’t recall much about the headset. It might be a power delivery problem to the sound card. You mentioned that when you turned off the stream it began "buzzing," which could happen if there’s an issue stopping or canceling the sound. Good luck, Labrockstar.
