Hello everyone, I'm experiencing some odd behavior while posting. My system has a Ryzen 1700X with 32GB RAM and four hard drives: one NVMe M.2 250GB SSD, one 250GB SSD, two mechanical drives. Usually, only three drives appear during post, except when the M.2 doesn't show up at all—then I thought it was a M.2 issue. Sometimes just two show up too. Everything works normally after booting into OS. Is this a warning sign that something is coming to an end? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Occasionally m.2 drives appear independently from where other drives show up, even in the BIOS. I don’t have any concerns about that. I’m not sure about the remaining drives. It seems like many small drives are present. I prefer having two drives on my PC together, offering larger storage capacity.

I thought I was going for bigger SSDs with the M.2 slot, but it was five years ago and budget limits shaped my choices—mechanical drives were my main option (4 and 8 TB) until later when a failed drive prompted upgrades. My upcoming build (after hearing reviews on new Ryzen and 40 series chips, assuming a few channels test them first) will focus entirely on SSDs, turning my current rig into a storage/plex and game server. I’m hoping it holds up or at least makes the most of what I have. Thanks again!
