I don't understand your network situation. My NAS operates on a specific subnet. I can reach it smoothly within my local network, but it consistently drops packets when trying to connect to the internet. The ping results show normal traffic patterns, yet connectivity outside the subnet remains unstable. What might be affecting this?

Describe your network setup: whether it uses Wi-Fi or Ethernet, the types of cables involved, any network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, or access points, and the connection method (fiber, DOCSIS, VDSL/2, ADSL, etc.). Also mention when the issue began and any recent modifications you made.

The Cisco 2911 is connected straight to a Linksys LRT214. Connection speed comes from ADSL or VDSL, but it's unclear which one is used.
