Unusual crashes accompanied by blurry screen issues and a blue screen of death on the new installation.
I’ve experimented with another monitor and another cable, but the problem continues. I still experience crashes, often triggered by screen flickering or freezing. Once the display glitches, artifacts emerge, and only after a total system freeze does the blue screen appear. The only solution is a manual reboot. Sometimes the screen shows nothing but a black screen instead. My PC has the following specs: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D, ASUS ROG STRIX X870-A motherboard, MSI RTX 4090 GPU, and a 1200W 2400W power supply. I’ve cleaned up Windows, checked temperatures, run diagnostics, and visited repair shops multiple times—still no fix. All components are new except the graphics card and power unit. I’m really stuck and need advice. Thank you in advance!
He made sure everything was up to date, ran tests such as 3-D checks, and encouraged people to give it a try right away.
I'm reaching out since it implies the issue might lie with the cable or the monitors.
I wouldn't return to fix it again. No tests needed—maybe it's a cable or screen issue.
I have a bad feeling ur gpus memory might be dying could u maybe try to underclock ur memory and see if u still get artifacts
The items seem more related to a monitor, cable, or port problem rather than an internal GPU issue. This explains why BSODs occur. Have you seen these problems in screenshots? Since screenshots record the frame buffer, if it’s missing, the issue happens after rendering. Visit C:\Windows\Minidump and look for any minidump files. If found, return to Windows and move the folder to your Downloads folder (or use your desktop if OneDrive isn’t available). Compress the folder and send it in a message. Please follow each step carefully—Windows doesn’t allow changes there.
Tried various monitors and cables, but issues persist. Artifacts show up only after screen flickers and only when the system freezes completely. Manual reboot is the only solution, though sometimes I see a black screen instead.
