Unusual crash on Windows 10.
The system was running Chrome in a standby state with no warnings or signs of failure. It displayed an error about attempting to write to read-only memory, indicating a NVIDDMIKSDK issue. This appears to be the first BSOD since the PC setup, and despite the CPU being overclocked at 4500MHz with a voltage of 1.248V, no problems have occurred before.
Check your graphics card drivers and update them. If the issue persists, restart your system and see if it resolves. If the problem continues after updating, consider reinstalling the operating system. If it still happens, your graphics card might need replacement.
It's not just the graphics drivers, but also the chipset and other components.
Everything has been refreshed following the Fall creators update.
The Fall team made my recent NVIDIA drivers faulty, causing the screen to go black and audio to repeat until freezing. I had to reinstall the drivers afterward, and everything worked smoothly without any freezes now. (I just install the drivers—no prior experience or 3D knowledge, only graphics and physics.)
I've encountered issues too after the update, and I'm really frustrated right now.
After the update, my Ryzen Master app and Corsair Link got corrupted. I had to reinstall AMD drivers and reset the power plan. There was one mysterious BSOD on this system that hasn’t occurred since the build. I don’t use Ryzen Master much except for temporary monitors, but it’s not a big concern for me. The issue is it’s locked on my system and I can’t remove or reinstall it right now. I managed to reinstall Corsair Link.
