Hi, welcome!
About two days ago I started noticing a peculiar clicking sound coming from my PC. I looked for others who might have the same issue and a solution, but couldn't find anything.
I already checked the fans and power supply unit—seems like the noise isn’t coming from those parts. Since I don’t have an HDD and the machine is new, it’s probably not related to that either.
The sound isn’t completely harmless; I haven’t had any problems otherwise, but it’s definitely bothersome. It seems to be near the motherboard, possibly the CPU cooler (which is air-based) or the GPU. I managed to pinpoint the likely source after some investigation.
I’m not sure exactly when it happens. Sometimes I’m using my GPU at full capacity and it doesn’t sound at all. Other times, when playing lighter games, it does become audible.
You can listen to it yourself (the audio was enhanced and trimmed, so it’s just the clicking). From my side it sounds moderate—not extremely loud, but persistent enough to annoy me:

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.
You should've included a video with audio clip to help us see if there are any visual indications to a culprit in your system. Host a video on Imgur and then pass on the link for us to see.
One thing you could do on your end is take a sheet of A4 paper, roll it up into a cylinder/tube, then hold one end to your ear. Use the other end of the tube to probe for the source of the noise.

I'm assuming this relates to the expansion or contraction of metal parts in your CPU or GPU. When specific metal elements change size due to temperature shifts, adjacent components may not move at the same rate, causing a clicking noise.
