Hi everyone,
I'm trying to understand why my PC began producing an electrical/buzzing sound starting today, but I don't know which part is responsible. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer! It's also hard to identify the exact part. Try using an A4 sheet and rolling it into a cylinder. Place one end near your ear while the other probes the noise source. Remove both side panels of your case for this method. PSU: CORSAIR RM850x
How old is your power supply?
Another tip: consider a dual-channel setup with low latency and DDR5-6000MHz RAM, which fits well with Intel and AMD's current platforms.

The PSU is around 2.5 years old. Also observed the noise continues even after shutting down the PC, but it disappears when the PSU is turned off. Thanks for the advice—I bought this PC when DDR5 with 6000Mhz was much more expensive and the optimal settings weren’t fully established then. I’ll consider it for my next build!
