some monitors perform better than others, but I'm not recommending it. It's possible to achieve good results using only default drivers, and I didn't want any misleading information from your previous comment about LCD/LED displays not being old CRTs that could be overclocked. Modern flat screens operate at specific frequencies, so connecting via DVI-D or HDMI limits you to standard settings.
I adjusted my monitor settings to 800x600 at 75hz, but the display no longer shows correctly. Reverting to 60hz resolves the issue. Can you find another solution to fix it?
consider adjusting the over scan/underscan options or use a gentler setting around 70hz
