Unusual black screens appearing randomly.
I assembled a new PC in late February. After roughly a month, I experienced occasional black screens—about once a week at first, then more often. Recently, three appeared within hours. They aren’t BSODs; they’re solid black displays that freeze the screen and prevent access to the computer. They occur randomly, so it doesn’t seem tied to a specific program. I’m worried about a RAM problem. They don’t happen during gameplay either. Could it be related to power issues? I haven’t overclocked anything. Please help! Windows 10 x64. It doesn't recognize your use of the power button to shut it down, leaving it unresponsive. This isn't just a simple signal issue—there could be many causes. I've even encountered problems like a broken fan leading to this situation.
Could it be related to power problems? I live in a dorm where the electricity seems inconsistent. I only have one power outlet—which is really strange—and there are two power strips between my PC and the wall. One concern is that my PC doesn<|pad|> to stop working under heavy load, but instead it keeps running.
