Unusual black screen occurrences, low kernel performance, and a stornvme dump attached.
Hello, my computer has been acting up recently, sometimes crashing unexpectedly—maybe five times a day or once every few days. It often occurs during games or when I’m idle. Usually it doesn’t display a blue screen; instead, the screen goes black and the system restarts immediately. I’m feeling quite confused and unsure about the cause. The Event Viewer reports a critical kernel error (Kernel-Power event 41) with a bugcode of 307. Just above that, there are seven NVMe warning messages that appeared shortly before the crash. I’ve attached my minidump and a screenshot from Event Viewer. You can access the full dump file here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1O6JAoig...la1b6/view.
I’ve tried several fixes: fresh installation of Windows, removed peripherals, reset CMOS, updated BIOS, ran MemTest, changed power supply, CPU, GPU, and even swapped the motherboard. None resolved the issue. It seems like a hardware problem might be involved, but I’m not sure what to look for in the dump files. I could try replacing the NVMe drive or checking the RAM, but right now I’m unsure which part is faulty. Perhaps someone can help me interpret these logs better.
This is my setup: Motherboard (previously Gigabyte Aorus Master X570), CPU (Ryzen 9 5900X), GPU (Asus TUF OC 3080), RAM (Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO, 32GB, 3200MHz CL16), Power Supply (Corsair RM850X Gold), GPU cooler (NZXT Kraken X73). Temperatures are normal—CPU stays around 40°C at idle and 70°C during gaming. I haven’t done any manual overclocking except using the XMP profile for RAM, which still causes crashes. If you have any insights from the dump files, it would be really helpful.
Best regards,

Have you figured out how to resolve this? You're facing a similar challenge with your 4070Ti, but using the MSI Gaming Trio X. You're attempting to start the warranty process, yet the RMA procedure in Brazil is quite complex. I visited technical support, who also encountered the black screen issue when testing the GPU on other systems. The problem began on October 3rd, 2023, when the PC displayed a black screen after leaving it on overnight. I reset the system and managed to get a display back after reinserting the GPU into the PCI slot, but it would quickly revert to the black screen. The issue continued even during light activities like browsing. Sometimes the EZ Debug LED on the motherboard would become stuck on the white VGA LED. Additionally, I've observed the "Kernel Power 41 (63)" error appearing in the Windows Event Viewer about ten times since then.
