Unusual audio glitches and in-game issues are occurring.
So i've been dealing with this for a bit now.I was playing dead by daylight with some friends on discord and when we loaded in the game stuttered a bit and the audio got distorted but just for 1 second then it went back to normal. And another time i was listening to a song on youtube and the sound just got distorted all of a sudden for 1 second like it stuttered. The thing is it happens really rarely like every 2 days or something like that but when the audio distorts together with the game it scares me so i just wanna know if there could be a fix. my pc specs Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 3600X Graphics Card: MSI GAMING X TRIO RTX 2080S (8GB DDR6) RAM: 16GB (15.96 Usable) Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO Power Supply: Corsair CX750 (750W) HDD: 1 TB WD Blue SSD: 240GB Kingston A400 Motherboard: ASUS TUF B450M PLUS GAMING
You've made a strong setup. There are some issues arising. It seems your Windows installation came from a clean drive—good luck with that. Proceed by following the recommended steps: update RealTek drivers and then your motherboard chipset drivers. Regarding audio, keep listening to music on SoundCloud or an MP3 player; if stuttering persists, continue testing. For stability, run Aida64 for several hours while monitoring performance. Also, let me know your Windows version so we can compare.
I need to check the latest Realtek drivers available online. These updates might be causing the issue you're experiencing. Let me look them up for you.
Thanks for the clarification, my friend... The system runs smoothly except for a minor issue. Please grab the RealTek and let me know if you're using the 1903 release.
Thanks a lot, man. Appreciate your time—it wasn’t forced, but you did help. I’m really young, around 14, and I know I look good for someone my age. My parents aren’t wealthy, but they’re loving and support me when I need it. I’m living a decent life until college.
However, I have some serious paranoia. Even small issues can ruin everything: my PC might stutter, which makes me anxious and keeps me up at night. Plus, I’ve had many problems with old hardware—my Corsair Vengeance RAM failed right after I got the PC, and my RTX 2060 started blowing up because the fans didn’t spin properly.
So, what should I do if the problem continues? I already have the newest chipset on my motherboard. It turns out I never installed Realtek, which might have affected my audio. What should I try next?

The issue you're experiencing could be related to several factors. After installing the driver, ensure your system is stable and that you're using compatible software. If the problem persists, try restarting Chrome or clearing its cache. You might also want to check for updates in Chrome and the browser itself. If it continues, consider running a system scan or consulting the driver's support forums for similar experiences.
