Unusual and erratic system crashes followed by reboots.
I recently acquired a used power supply, processor, motherboard module, and RAM package. It operates smoothly with minimal stability problems during stress testing. Yet, I frequently encounter crashes when launching a single game (similar to pressing reset/reboot on the front panel). Occasionally it freezes during main menu or after extended gaming sessions. In Event Viewer, the error is labeled as Kernel-Power, which isn't very informative. I suspect a faulty PSU, but CPU usage stays between 20-40% in games. I've combined stress tests for CPU and GPU, achieving 100% usage without any failures. Performance metrics remain stable (60-70% on GPU and CPU). Stress tests show only one crash in MSI Kombustor (possibly a coincidence), and no crashes during FurMark or in the same games. It tends to fail consistently (usually right after loading) in Unigine Heaven on DX11/DX9, and sporadically when using OpenGL. It also crashes when adjusting the 'Noise reduction' slider in Photoshop or Adobe Camera Raw, though I'm unsure about other settings. Games behave differently: it crashes on War Thunder at full settings occasionally, but mostly on lower settings; Hired Ops and Enlisted have similar patterns. It crashes consistently in COD Warzone, rarely otherwise. I've checked with a separate Windows 11 installation and still faced the same issue. It appears to last longer if the PC has been idle for a while, such as after BIOS tweaks. Once it fails once, rebooting seems to trigger another crash sooner than expected. I initially thought overheating might be the cause, but the PSU fan isn't increasing despite high load. All connections appear properly connected. Please share all relevant details.
