Hello everyone, I’m dealing with a Mofi 4500 router that’s showing an unusually high upload activity. The OpenWRT setup with VnStat is tracking about 1-2GBs of data sent daily on the cellular module. The bandwidth monitoring also shows each device using similar amounts, but none of my devices are consuming close to that figure. It seems either the monitoring tools aren’t accurate, or something within Mofi itself is causing this. Since the issue isn’t tied to a single device and our network is secure in a remote location, I’m unsure what’s going on. The cloud backups are minimal, and I’ve already contacted MofiNetworks without getting a reply. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I’d begin by cutting down the number of devices on that network. I’d focus on computers first, using tools like GlassWire to track the applications.

I frequently notice Apple iOS devices struggle with uploads, often losing files or failing full backups. GlassWire can help identify any unusual activity on your PC.

The monitoring provides detailed vnstat data, including active sessions from internal devices.
