Hi! I cleaned up the old PC you mentioned and it still won’t power on properly after all the updates. No display, no video output, though it sometimes boots into BIOS and works fine. The CPU is an I5 3570, GPU is R9 270x, and the RAM is three 4GB Corsair Vengeance modules. I’ve tried re-seating the RAM several times without success, and moved the GPU to another slot but it didn’t help. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Test each stick separately one at a time within its slot to verify functionality across different RAM setups.

Inspect the tiny connectors linking the case to the motherboard. Mistakes are likely if you're not careful.

I didn’t even turn them off for cleaning, so I’m assuming everything is fine. Just to be safe, I’ll double-check them. Thank you!

The issue at hand is... *how* you maintained the computer? Which components were taken out?

I think it's an Alcohol Elephant in the room... Cleaning a PC is this https://www.linkreviews.com/best-dust-blower-for-pc/ But for any old PC, CMOS battery is my first go to. It may display time fine, but still be 2.2V instead of 3V. So it will retain CMOS settings... sometimes... when it feels like it.
