Unusual actions from a fresh computer
I recently assembled a new computer but am facing unusual problems I don’t understand. When I disconnect the power cable and turn it on, all hardware slows down significantly—even the SSD reaches only 2800 Mbps and graphics lag. Restarting with the cable connected fixes everything. This is frustrating because I have to restart every time I want to use it. I’ve already tried using optimized motherboard settings, but that didn’t help. Could you check the PC specifications? CPU: i7 11700K, Motherboard: Gigabyte AORUS PRO AX Wi-Fi, GPU: Zotac 3080 Ti Trinity OC, Power supply: Corsair 1000W 80+ Titanium, RAM: Corsair 32GB 3600MHz.
Technically I could keep the power cable connected all the time, but I don’t want problems from it due to constant plugging in. Once I switch the power off, I’ll need to restart to restore full performance.
Connected constantly and turned on regularly? It happens whenever I turn off the power, whether it's still connected or not—I end up having to restart the computer.
I didn't mention that. I could reset the CMOS or update the BIOS.
Sure, I've already restored the CMOS and updated the BIOS. It's strange that everything functions properly after a restart, even though constantly connecting to power seems to slow things down.
