I recently purchased an Alpenföhn "Ben Nevis" and no longer have a Fanspin. A friend suggested it and it was affordable. I also used MX-4 Paste, following instructions to create a bean-sized hole in the middle. I’m uncertain if I damaged the fan, but overall everything is functioning perfectly. All games behave as expected. When attempting manual spin, it works smoothly and runs like a well-oiled machine! I’m unsure if the cooler is exceptional or if I accidentally harmed something. It’s a 2700X CPU. Need any advice or reassurance?

The fan seems to be having issues. It shouldn't require a manual start and shouldn't be making unusual noises. If the size is odd (like 130mm), it might be worth getting a replacement from another brand and ending the problem. If your warranty covers the cooler, you could attempt an RMA.
