I recently shared a few trades on csgolounge, but some scammers tried to contact me. Their messages were really unhelpful. They claimed my friends wanted to trade with me for no good reason and offered links to communities. One link was steamcmunity.com/id/321684198 and another was steamcommurity.com/id/357219216. It seems they weren’t very clever or persuasive. Have you experienced anything similar?
Absolutely, I encounter this regularly when posting on Craigslist. It seems to happen with many people who play Runescape too.
He had his Steam account suspended for some time and lost several items from his collection while he was caught up in one of these.
