I've been playing GW2 and noticed frequent stutters, with audio and video freezing as if the system was about to crash but then continuing. Certain areas in the game trigger this more often. Switching to FreeTube helped eliminate the issue. It's unclear whether the problem lies with the game or my PC under heavy load. Any suggestions?

Start the hardware monitor, verify temperatures, then test SSD performance for gaming. Compare M.2 vs SSD speed.

Previous problems with AMD systems and USB (Zen 3 and earlier) have been resolved by a BIOS update. The stuttering might still stem from hardware issues such as overheating, power supply faults, or component failure. Hard drive or solid-state drive malfunctions often lead to drive errors logged in the Windows System event log. For tracking the problem, Latencymon is the only tool I'm aware of that can assist; you can find it here: https://www.resplendence.com/latencymon

You should check the thermals and ensure your PSU is up-to-date. No other issues are present. Problems tend to occur during intense activity from larger users or games.

Your GPU is limiting your performance! If you're not playing, turn off all unnecessary background processes and ads. Windows should run smoothly, but Linux might have an easier time. Good luck!
