Visit C:\Windows\Minidump to see if any minidump files exist. If present, return to the Windows directory and transfer the Minidump folder to the Downloads folder (use your desktop if needed). Compress the copied folder and include it in a post. Please adhere strictly to instructions since Windows doesn't allow file manipulation there.
Technically these aren't crashes, so none of the minidump files seem connected. There are three of them, each with timestamps that don’t match any crash times I’ve seen. I’ll give it a shot just to be sure there’s something in there Minidump.zip
I tested the game while using Rivatuner to check RAM, GPU, and power usage. I noticed RAM usage kept rising until the screen went dark. After installing new RAM sticks, I set the page file to match my RAM size and restarted the game. When adjusting FPS, my GPU handled up to 140W without issues before being capped again at 180W. This time, RAM consumption continued increasing past 8GB but didn’t cause a crash, which seemed promising. I played for about an hour in various modes, except competitive, and everything ran smoothly. Later, when entering competitive mode, my PC crashed after roughly 9500MB of RAM usage, suggesting the issue might still be related to memory limits. My main confusion is why other multiplayer games with similar player counts and smooth gameplay worked so well compared to what I experienced during troubleshooting. Each time I logged back in, the black screen appeared more quickly, and even booting up without any programs didn’t resolve the problem.
The crashes originate from Vanguard, suggesting a possible connection. One incident involved the Nvidia driver, but due to the exact error code, it's challenging for the OS to determine which driver is responsible. I'll share more details below if you're interested. We'll handle that later when needed. Reinstalling Vanguard may be necessary.
