I did use DUU, both time I changed the GPU, after trying the 3080 for the first time and it giving the problem I switched back to the 6600xt to play while I waited for the new PSU. Used DDU all proper and I played for like 2 days no problem After installing the 3080 again, with a new PSU (850w) problem starts again. I do think I have free sync on, but never game me any problems having one display 144hz and the other 60hz. Temps are around the 70's I have seen it crash at low 70's and at high 70's Could be thermal because of the memory temps, they tend to run hot on this cards, right? (This is a second hand mining GPU, maybe the thermal pads need changing?) Gotta see the memory temps and see if I find anything out of the ordinary But I did upgrade the cooling on the PC I have 2 fans exhausting the hot air from above the GPU. And it only happens inside games, I can run a stress test on the CPU and one in the GPU and it runs no problem Like 15 minutes no problem (haven't tried longer) But still 15 minutes in stress test but can't handle 3 minutes in game?!

It was true, the Witcher 3 faced the same issue, and in code I experienced the same difficulty starting the game.

It is very possible it is a hardware issue. I would only see if you re-install windows and use a fresh install of drivers to rule out any AMD/Nvidia Tomfoolery. But, I am leaning towards hardware fault.
