I've started exploring keyboard and mouse usage after years of controller play. When attempting small motions with the mouse, the screen appears to lag, jumping 10-15 lines even with smooth movements. This isn't due to low performance since the system runs above 60fps and the game is stable. I've checked mouse acceleration settings and disabling them didn't help. The jittery behavior is unsettling and makes me feel uneasy. Any suggestions? My current setup includes a Ryzen 2600X, MSI GTX 1070, 16GB Corsair 3200Mhz RAM.

Start by checking your DPI/Sens configuration. I use around 800 DPI with 6 sensors, aiming for something in that area or lower. If the issue isn’t related to settings, isolate it to a PC or mouse—compare with another device. If it differs, your mouse might be faulty.
