Due to a budget slip-up, I missed getting a Windows license. On G2A I searched for a cheap copy but found nothing under $90. Now I’m trying to decide the optimal plan for my next purchase, though the available options don’t cover enough for Windows. What happens when time runs out?

She installed an unregistered version of Windows 7 for more than two years. The computer shows a black screen saying "This version of Windows is not genuine." If you switch it off again, it will revert to the original version.
