Hello, up until now I managed everything on my Unraid tower using guides and forums, but this problem has taken up too much of my time. TL;DR The situation started when a recent cache drive failed, making me think a lot of data was lost. I stayed off the tower for about a month due to stress. When I returned, I managed to restore everything without losing anything. While working through it, I realized my Docker setup was in disarray, so I decided to clean it up. I transferred all appdata and app shares to a local drive just in case I needed them during the reconfiguration. Noticing I hadn't updated the server in a while, I checked for updates and found it wasn't updated since 6.3.3—the version shown on the server. I planned to clean, update, and rebuild Docker from scratch. But some folders didn’t move off the drive during transfer, and after deleting they vanished from Windows Explorer. When I tried on my Mac, it showed files were still in use even though I’d removed the Docker images. There was no indication of these shares being deleted. Eventually, I thought restarting the server might help remove the files. After a restart, I logged into Tower but couldn’t access the webGUI or file structure, and it kept showing as 6.4 instead of 6.3.3. Every time I encountered boot issues before reaching the login screen, they would error out. Since there were no errors now, I wasn’t able to investigate further due to time constraints.

I realized the fix. The server now runs version 6.4, and I adjusted the network configuration so it’s not using a fixed IP address. Restored everything and it’s functioning properly.
