I'm pretty sure it's not my PSU, I've changed it before and still had the same problems. Both the one I usually use and the one I swapped were good ones, not some cheap ones I found on eBay for free. I just can't recall the name of the one I currently have.
PSU would be my first choice, but after trying two PSUs it might be a hard drive issue or a dead SATA port. Check if the drive works in another port. Are you using a UPS or powering directly from the wall? Look for power problems like brownouts or outages. Also consider temperature—especially since it’s happening even when not under load.
