I'm feeling really stuck. I'm not sure what's going on and I really need help solving this issue. When I play new Call of Duty (Warzone or Cold War), I experience huge lag spikes. Usually, the first 10 minutes work fine, but then it starts and happens roughly every minute. My games run smoothly at 100 FPS, which makes multiplayer games impossible to enjoy. Other older games work just fine, but only newer ones do. I checked for package loss, but nothing stands out. Then I looked at GPU usage, but it stays under 4400 MB—normal. I think the problem lies with my CPU; its time jumps from 10 ms (normal) to 50 ms (much too high), which also drops my FPS to 15. In Task Manager, the CPU usage only reaches about 9% during these spikes, whereas it should be around 50%. I've tried turning off power-saving features, but nothing helps. Could this be a bottleneck issue? I'm not sure if that would cause constant low FPS. If anyone has suggestions on how to fix this, please let me know! My setup is: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X, GeForce GTX 1060 Ti (latest drivers), 16 GB RAM.

Trying to limit my FPS cap can help a bit, though it isn’t the answer I’m seeking.
