I recently assembled a PC with these components: CPU – AMD Ryzen 5 7600X, Motherboard – MSI AM5 B650-P Pro, RAM – G.Skill Flare X5 32GB (2x16GB), DDR5 6000MHz CL36 EXPO, PSU – Seasonic Focus 850W 80 Plus Gold. Over time, the system began to fail during gameplay. I eliminated the PSU by replacing it with another unit, though the original was only 650W and might have been unstable under load. I then swapped in two 8GB RAM sticks, which resolved the problem and prevented crashes. However, when using just one stick of the 16GB RAM, the PC functioned normally. After sending the faulty RAM to warranty, they confirmed no issues were found, but I received a replacement anyway. Once the new RAM arrived, the instability returned. Could there be a reason why my system only supports 16GB? I’m unsure what might be causing this behavior. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Search the event viewer for crash logs near the crash times to identify potential causes.

It seems like your motherboard might not be meeting its full potential. Double-check that you're using the right settings as specified in your manual.

There is nothing visible to suggest the issue.

I believe so. The RAM seems fully prepared for use, but it crashed even with the EXPO profile active. I just powered it off and adjusted the frequency manually.
