I’ve tried everything – starting a game, building a spacecraft, and it just keeps crashing. I’ve done it dozens of times now, consistently around 2-5 minutes in, no matter what I try. Lowering the graphics settings, using compatibility mode, reinstalling nine times, checking my system… nothing seems to work. My PC specs are: AMD FX-8350, Radeon RX 460, 2x4GB RAM.

I’ve tried decreasing graphic settings from default to potato, enabling and disabling AMD compatibility mode in the launcher, forcing OpenGL, running in compatibility mode, reinstalling nine times, checking system errors, changing my RAM, increasing task priority – basically anything I could think of. Even sacrificing my cat didn't help! I’ve installed it on an SSD too.

It’s strange because no error logs are created during the crashes.

Recently, after upgrading to the latest Windows 10 update, this started happening. It seems linked to the Unity engine, as I’ve experienced similar issues with other Unity games. Any help would be greatly appreciated – I'm really not sure what else to do.

this is embarrassing, first of all, thank you for anyone who read this far.
long story short, I fixed the error.
it turns out I have an outdated directX installed. and once I updated it everything runs just fine.

Memory part number and/or link to it?
Motherboard model number?
Power supply?

As far as I know, there aren't any issues with those components – the motherboard, power supply, and RAM. Besides that, I don’t really recall the exact model of the motherboard; I run it with a 450-watt power supply. Now that you mention it, I have to admit there was a problem with the motherboard – it's one of the cheapest AM3+ boards on the market. It occasionally triggers the ASUS power surge failsafe, and I’m aware of that. I got it as a backup and can’t replace it for about 5 months, so I’ve resolved the issue by limiting processor power consumption, which works fine – even with demanding games like ARMA 3, The Witcher 3, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, and Subnautica. It’s been stable for the last seven months. However, it crashes when playing Kerbal Space Program.

To be honest, I don’t really know what to look for in that file. Can you specify which part you want me to see because it’s too long to paste everything here?

That's a Windows setting problem.

that doesn't really help but I'll check on that.
another thing, this is just a guess though. i tried to play other games while waiting for answers but then I noticed a different pattern. every single Unity based video games is also crashed, and the "unity crash handler" is popping out in every single one of them, including the KSP.
so here is an additional information, I recently upgrade my win10 and I think that's when the errors start happening.
I've already check other forums and it seems that this might be my issue here.
I didn't find any solution tho. so I'm open to suggestions
